Privacy policy
sqldeveloper.download runs without accounts, advertising, or third-party analytics. This page explains the small amount of first-party data the server records, the one cookie the site sets, and how to ask us to remove your data.
The short version
- No accounts, no sign-in
- No advertising
- No third-party analytics or trackers
- No third-party cookies
This site hosts no files and links every download straight to download.oracle.com. To keep the download data accurate and to stop abuse, the server records a small amount of first-party technical data, described below.
What the server records
| Data | Why | Where it lives |
|---|---|---|
| IP address | Abuse prevention and aggregate country-level counts | Server request log and a local database |
| User-agent and browser language | Telling ordinary visitors apart from automated scrapers | Server request log and a local database |
| Referring page | Understanding which guides are useful | Server request log and a local database |
| Download-button click event | Counting which platform people choose | A first-party counter log |
This is ordinary web-server logging. It is used only in aggregate for running the site and preventing abuse; it is never sold, rented, or shared for advertising, and no third party receives it.
What we deliberately do not do
- No third-party analytics, tag managers, or pixels.
- No advertising and no affiliate tracking.
- No cross-site tracking or profiling.
- No embedded fonts, scripts, or images from other domains — everything is self-hosted.
Your choices
You can block or clear the two cookies in your browser settings at any time; the download links keep working. You can also ask us to delete server-log entries that relate to your IP address by emailing [email protected] with the approximate date and time of your visit, and we will remove them. Logs are kept only as long as they are useful for abuse prevention and aggregate reporting.
Security researchers should use security.txt.
